‘Black-ish’: Watch Miles Brown Perform On ‘America’s Got Talent’

"It was really overwhelming, but at the same time it was a really fun experience.”

Miles Brown On 'America's Got Talent', 'Black-ish'Miles Brown — Jack Johnson on ABC’s hit comedy BLACK-ISH — was once a breakdancing reality show contestant!

Miles (aka Baby Boogaloo) and childhood pal Bailey “Bailrock” Munoz became overnight fan favorites in 2010 during season five of AMERICA’S GOT TALENT.

They won America’s hearts (and votes!) as dance act Future Funk, prompting judge Sharon Osbourne to declare:  “What you do is fantastic.  You make me smile.  I think you are going to end up with your own TV show.”

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT “was a really cool experience,” Miles, now 11, tells TheTVPage.com.

“It was my first competition show.  It was really overwhelming, but at the same time it was a really fun experience.”

Miles, who is originally from Oxnard, California, also made several appearances on the ELLEN show.

Future Funk were eliminated from AGT in the semi-finals, earning an “X” buzzer from judge Piers Morgan in their last performance.

The boys remain friends.

“Sometimes we hang out with each other,” Miles says.  “But he lives all the way in Las Vegas.  We see each other here and there.  He is still performing.  He is in a breakdancing crew.”

BLACK-ISH returns for its third season September 21 on ABC.
