‘Miss America Pageant’ Snags Mark Cuban As Celebrity Judge

Competition airs September 11 on ABC

Mark Cuban will be among the celebrity judges for THE 2016 MISS AMERICA PAGEANT.

Cuban is the star of SHARK TANK and owner of the Dallas Mavericks.  He will be joined by actress Sara Foster (BARELY FAMOUS), singer-songwriter Cole Swindell and former Miss America 1985, Sharlene Wells Hawkes.

The panel of celebrity judges will evaluate the contestants’ performances in the following categories during the live broadcast: Lifestyle and Fitness in Swimsuit, Evening Wear, Talent, Interview and On-Stage questions.  These young women will showcase their incredible blend of intelligence, leadership, talent, physical fitness and dedication to community service as they compete for the title of Miss America 2017.

This is Cuban’s first time judging the 96 year-old event.

Previous celebrity judges have included Kathy Ireland, Lance Bass and Cuban’s SHARK TANK buddy, Barbara Corcoran.

This year’s pageant finale will be broadcast live from Atlantic City on ABC on Sunday Sept. 11. Chris Harrison and Sage Steele return as hosts.
