Even comics get serious sometimes.

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT judge Howie Mandel stopped by THE TALK on Monday to share his views on the recent shootings and protests in several U.S. cities.

Hundreds were arrested in protests over police shootings in St. Paul and Baton Rouge last week.

A gunman in Dallas shot 12 police officers, killing five.

“People talk about guns, I think it’s education and mental health,” Mandel said. “This pent up anger… it’s not about gun control, it’s about human control.”

Co-host Sheryl Underwood also weighed in: “We are very angry about the few bad apples that are in law enforcement and something has to be done about that. But in the Dallas situation what you see is the courage of law enforcement…We need the police, and the police need to know we love them…the other thing we have to do is, we have to start loving each other.”
