‘Miss America’: Chris Harrison To Return As Host

Chris Harrison hosts 'Miss America' Pageant on ABC

He’s back!

Chris Harrison will return as host of the upcoming MISS AMERICA PAGEANT, which airs live from Atlantic City, New Jersey on September 11.

This is the eighth time hosting for Harrison, who is best known as host of ABC‘s reality dating series, THE BACHELOR.

He will be joined by Sage Steele (NBA COUNTDOWN).

In a statement this morning, Harrison said: “For 96 years, Miss America has shone light on some of the brightest and most talented young women in the country. This year will surely be a fun-filled night showcasing talent, glamour, fitness, presentation and community achievement as the country’s brightest compete for the crown!”

Steele added: “There’s always such a high level of drama and competitiveness during the Miss America Competition that rivals many sporting events that I’ve covered. I can’t wait to host alongside Chris Harrison to see what this year brings.”

Celebrity judges have not yet been announced.

Betty Cantrell of Warner Robins, Georgia is the current Miss America.

THE MISS AMERICA PAGEANT airs live September 11 on ABC.
