‘America’s Got Talent’: Could Maya Angela Make It To Finals? (WATCH)

Moya faces stiff competition — primarily from other young singers like 12 year-old Grace VanderWaal.

A not-so-dark horse emerged during the final night of auditions for AMERICA’S GOT TALENT.

Moya Angela is a 32 year-old school teacher from Las Vegas.

She loves her job working with mostly underprivileged kid, but is now ready to follow a life long dream of becoming a singer.

“It is time for me to stand on my own two feet as Moya Angela and show the world what I am made of,” she told judge Simon Cowell.

Moya’s audition with the Celine Dion classic, “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now” was one of those moments where you could almost see into the future and envision her being crowned champion.

Moya faces stiff competition — primarily from other young singers like 12 year-old Grace VanderWaal.  But she has the polished chops and sweet backstory to ride all the way into the Top 10.

When it was all over, Moya received a standing ovation and praise from all four judges:

Howie Mandel:  “You seem like you were born to be on that stage.  You were born to be in this moment.  You were born to be doing nothing but what you are doing right now.  And I think that is what you are going to be doing from this day forward.”

Mel B.:  “That has to be one of my favorite Celine Dion songs of all time, so I was praying that you weren’t going to crucify it.  But you made it your own.  And that was just so special, my God!”

Heidi Klum: “You sold it and I bought it.”

Simon Cowell:  “That is what we call a singer.  That final note, you nailed it.  You know what i love about you is that you took your two minutes and you made the most of it.  You really made an impression and I am going to remember this for a long time to come.”

How far will she advance?  We’ll begin to find out when the competition moves on next week!

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT airs Tuesdays at 8:00 PM on NBC.
