Oh, no she didn’t!
A 12 year-old hip-hop dancer named Tahani left it all on the stage last night — literally — vomiting on judge Paula Abdul after a spectacular performance on the season opener of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE: THE NEXT GENERATION.
Than is just one of the eight to 13 year-old dancer being featured on the show this season.
The aspiring hip-hop star got off to a great start at the Chicago auditions, dancing and flipping her way through a fierce performance to Beyonce’s “Countdown.”
She earned a standing ovation and a ticket to the next round from judges Abdul, Nigel Lythgoe and Jason Derulo. But when it can time to receive individual hugs of congratulations, the sixth grader began to feel uneasy.
Later in the broadcast, Tahani told host Cat Deeley: “I hugged Nigel. I hugged Paula, and she just squeezed me too tight, and all the happiness came [out] on her jacket.”
Paula, always a pro, later tweeted, “I never had anyone vomit on me like that.”
