The 23 year-old walked away with $73,000 and TWO cruises last week during an unbelievable run on the game show, in which he managed to solve almost every puzzle.
The Yorktown, New York resident even came up with answer using just one letter as a clue.
Santoli — who previously tried out for the show four years ago — told his hometown newspaper that producers revealed ahead of time that the episode would be sponsored by Carnival Cruise Lines and have a “nautical theme.”
“The instant I got my theme, I immediately came up with an ever-growing list of puzzles themed towards cruises, sailing, fish, boats—anything on or in the water,” he said.
The well-prepared contestant claims host Pat Sajack even pleaded with him during a commercial break to “let someone else play.”
He plans to use his winnings to pay off student loans from Fordham University and buy or lease a car.
