Clay Aiken Bashes Donald Trump

“Forget unpresidential...[He’s] delusional.”

Looks like Clay Aiken won’t be Donald Trump’s running mate.

The outspoken AMERICAN IDOL runner up and former congressional candidate — has some harsh words for the Republican presidential frontrunner.

“You can’t tell me that you are going to be the person who’s toughest with Vladimir Putin if you don’t even have the balls to tell your people not to hit folks,” he revealed during a satellite radio interview with Variety’s Pop Politics.

“And I don’t have any respect for that.”

Aiken — a runner up on Trump’s CELEBRITY APPRENTICE — had previously been a Trump supporter, calling him a “good guy.”

Now, after the billionaire real estate mogul reportedly offered to pay legal fees for a supported who sucker-punched a protester at a recent campaign rally, Aiken has withdrawn his endorsement.

“Forget unpresidential,” the singer says, “[He’s] delusional.”
