America's Got Talent logoAMERICA’S GOT TALENT is coming home.

Television’s biggest talent contest returns to Los Angeles this summer with judges Simon Cowell, Mel B., Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum.

The program spent the last four seasons in New York City — largely to accommodate judge Howard Stern, who stepped down last fall.

The official announcement came down from NBC this afternoon.

“Howie, Mel and Heidi have an undeniable chemistry together and bring unbridled energy to everything they do,” said Paul Telegdy, President of Alternative Programming.

“We are very excited to bring them back along with Nick Cannon as host, and with the addition of creator Simon Cowell as a judge, the panel just got a little more interesting. We can’t wait for the new season to begin.”

Added Cowell:  “Without sounding too arrogant I am going to call us the Fantastic Four. I like this panel because they are slightly nuts. And now let’s find a star.”
