Did Steve Harvey flub the Miss Universe pageant on purpose?
Comic Mike Epps — star of the new ABC series UNCLE BUCK — seems to think so.
“I think it was a collective group of people with that contest that said ‘You know what? We want to get our name out there because the biggest movie in the world is out, Star Wars,” Epps tells TheTVPage.com.
“We gotta get a little something going on.”
“I think he loved that shit,” Epps added. “I think Steve Harvey enjoyed it. It might have been a mistake. If it was, it was a good one.”
In UNCLE BUCK — premiering in spring 2016 — Epps reinvents the role made famous in the 1989 movie of the same name.
