“I’ve got lots of TV ideas,” the London-born ventriloquist says. “I have got an idea for a sitcom which I have been working on for quite a while now — and other ideas involving my kind of comedy with the puppets.”
Zerdin, 43, walked away with the NBC talent competition’s $1 million top prize and an invitation to headline the AMERICA’S GOT TALENT LIVE show in Las Vegas next month.
“These types of opportunities don’t come around that often,” Zerdin told TheTVPage.com today.
“I have been in this business for 25 years now and I have worked all over the place, but this is by far the biggest opportunity I have ever had. I absolutely want to go for it. I have so many ideas of things that I want to do, that in a way, if I get it right, you are limited only by your imagination.”
“I am very excited about the future,” he adds.
“You don’t know what is going to happen, but I am going to try my very hardest.”
AMERICA’S GOT TALENT returns in summer 2016 on NBC.
