‘DWTS’: Gary Busey Brings The Crazy On Premiere Night (WATCH)

But, shockingly, he doesn't finish in last place!

Gary Busey competes on the 21st season of 'Dancing with The Stars'

As expected, Gary Busey brought the crazy to DANCING WITH THE STARS on Monday night.

The outspoken — and sometimes unpredictable — Oscar winner cha-chaed with pro partner Anna Trebunskaya, but earned more attention for his somewhat incoherent post-dance interview.

“That was more than I knew it would be and what I didn’t know came true because I dance in a cosmos of riddles and nothing means anything to me if I have to think about it,” he told a confused Tom Bergeron.

“And with this young lady, Anna — ‘from Russia with love’ — this is what sculpted me into what I am today dancing…”

“I am going to get this all read back to me so I can savor it later,” the host joked, prompting Busey to zing back:  “When I am talking to you, your left eye is spinning.”

The actual performance — which resembled something your drunk uncle might try to embarrass you with at a wedding — was a favorite for the judges (but probably not for the right reasons).

Bruno Tonioli:  It was like watching a summer blockbuster. Chaos, mayhem destruction, and yet I kept on watching.

Carrie Ann Inaba:  In dance the one thing you have to do is give it your all.  I can’t stand watching performances where people mock the routine and they don’t give it.  Every move, you were 1000 percent and you were on the beat.

Julianne Hough “We don’t want you to stop.  When we watch, we want to be entertained.  I don’t know how great of a cha cha that was, but we were entertained.  You stole our hearts and you maybe stole America’s hearts also.”

Busey and Trebunskaya ended up with 15 out of a possible 30, placing them above singer Chaka Khan and reality star Kim Zolciak-Biermann.

“15 equals 6 and 6 is a double trinity,” he tried to explain.

No one was eliminated during the two hour live event.  Two couples will be sent home next week — one on Monday and one on Tuesday.
