‘The View’
Candace Cameron-Bure Just Made A Huge Mistake

New talk show gig will likely make her a target because of controversial views

Candace Cameron Bure on The View

Candace Cameron-Bure just made the biggest mistake of her life.

The FULLER HOUSE star has taken the bait and officially accepted a spot on ABC’s floundering daytime talk series, THE VIEW.

The problem isn’t just that the once mighty morning show is no longer culturally relevant.  What Cameron doesn’t seem to recognize is that she was specifically cast to create drama by sharing her conservative, ultra-Christian views.

Whatever your personal beliefs, now is not the time — and Disney-owned television — is certainly not the best place to be standing up for beliefs that have traditionally been mocked by social media.

Remember how people reacted when she spoke about taking a “submissive” role in her marriage?  Or what happened when she was questioned about the Portland bakery that refused to make wedding cakes for same sex couples?

“I wasn’t there to debate gay marriage or straight marriage,” she said the next day.

Of course you were, silly girl.  That was the whole plan in the product.

What is the over/under on the first kooky Kirk Cameron question?

Look, I like Candace and would love to see her begin a new chapter in her post-FULL HOUSE career.

Just not so sure this is the best fit…

THE VIEW airs weekday mornings on ABC.
