Talk about cutting it close!
The 2015 MISS USA PAGEANT is literally days away from a worldwide live broadcast and producers still have no idea who will host.
The liberal media have done a pretty solid job of branding anyone who gets near the project as a Mexican-hating racist (thanks, in part to comments made by executive producer and presidential candidate Donald Trump).
That is making it harder than expected to find a celebrity willing to attach their face and image to the event.
According to reports, “multiple offers” have been extended since MSNBC news anchor Thomas Roberts and DANCING WITH THE STARS pro Cheryl Burke backed out nearly two weeks ago.
The best case scenario, of course, would be for a high profile celebrity with deep hispanic roots — think: George Lopez or Sofia Vergara — to step up and save the day. But that is unlikely to happen.
At the end of the day, the gig will probably go to a complete unknown who will suddenly be thrust into the media spotlight and become a household name — for all the wrong reasons.
Who do you think should host the MISS USA PAGEANT? Sound off in the comments section below.
THE 2015 MISS USA PAGEANT airs July 12 on Reelz.
