Holy product placement, Batman!
Next week’s episode of MODERN FAMILY will essentially be a 30 minute informercial for Apple, Inc.
“Connection Lost,” airing February 25, was shot entirely using MacBook Pros, iPads and the iPhone6s.
“It’s going to look amazingly gorgeous but yet real,” executive producer Steve Levitan told TheWrap.com.
“This is how families are communicating today,” Levitan said. “I see it in my family all the time.”
Levitan did not disclose how much — if anything — producers were paid for the brand integration stunt.
MODERN FAMILY airs Wednesdays at 9:00 PM on ABC.
