Looks like the gang will all be together again on AMERICA’S GOT TALENT.
A report out of the U.K. today says Mel B is close to signing a six figure deal that will have her back at the judges table when tapings for season 10 begin March 2 in Newark, New Jersey.
“She is over the moon that she is going back to AMERICA’S GOT TALENT,” a source close to the former Spice Girl tells The Mirror.
“She loves the show. She is working hard on her profile in the US so this is a real boost.
“Things have been a bit rubbish for her lately. Her marriage has been questioned by many so she is happy she can get stuck into work now.”
“Simon [Cowell, the show’s creator] has been very supportive of Mel. He admires her and her work ethic.”
Though NBC has made no formal announcements [beyond the return of Howard Stern], the show’s official audience coordinators are inviting fans to “Join Nick [Cannon], Howard [Stern], Heidi [Klum], Howie [Mandel], and Mel B in the live audience for the first round of auditions!”
No word yet on whether the show will return for a third season to Radio City Music Hall, though the venue shows no other events scheduled from July through September.
An NBC spokesperson declined to confirm or deny anything.
AMERICA’S GOT TALENT returns this summer.
