Fox To Air Emmy Awards On September 20

The 67th Primetime Emmy Awards will air September 20 on Fox, the network announced today.

The ceremony will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.

Host(s), producers and nominees will be announced at a later date.

The Emmy Awards recognize excellence within various areas of television and emerging media.  The Primetime Emmy Award is a symbol of peer recognition from more than 17,500 voting members of the Television Academy.

Last year’s winners included:

Best Drama Series:  BREAKING BAD
Best Comedy Series:  MODERN FAMILY
Lead Actor, Drama: Bryan Cranston, BREAKING BAD
Lead Actress, Drama: Julianna Margulies, THE GOOD WIFE
Lead Actor, Comedy: Jim Parsons, THE BIG BANG THEORY
Lead Actress, Comedy: Julia-Louis Dreyfuss, VEEP

Additionally, it was announced that the Creative Arts Emmys will be taped Saturday, September 12 and broadcast on FXX on a date still to be determined.
