‘Ellen’: Dance Dare Goes Horribly Wrong In NYC (Video)

Cops shove man to ground for dancing 'Gangnam Style'

Some people can’t take a joke!

Alexander Bok, an internet prankster from New York City, was trying to participate in a silly dance challenge put forward by THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW.

Before the holidays, the show’s host (who loves to prank her unsuspecting guests) issues a challenge for viewers to videotape themselves sneaking up behind a stranger and busting a move.

Bok hit the streets on Christmas Eve set his mark on a pair of NYPD officers who were not very amused by the stunt.

Bah Humbug!

In the video above, one officer can be heard saying, “What the f–k are you doing behind me?  What the f–k is wrong with you?”

“I’m just dancing,” Bok explains.

“Are you f**kin’ kidding me, bro?” the officer then responds, shoving Bok to the ground. “Take a f**kin’ walk.”

We can probably all agree that jumping around behind an armed cop is not the smartest thing to do.

But once it was clear that no one was in danger, the officers seen here clearly crossed the line.

Law enforcement agencies across the country need to make their officers more accountable for the way the conduct themselves on the job.

So far neither the NYPD nor the ELLEN show have commented publicly on the incident but the video has been viewed more than 300,000 times.

Expect to see Alexander on Ellen’s couch when the program returns in January.
