Latest TV News: ‘Anger Management’ Ends, Tom Brokaw Cancer Update

Plus, watch a video preview of 'My Husband's Not Gay'

Here’s what’s buzzing on Monday, December 22, 2014…

Charlie Sheen

Charlie Sheen is out of work again. The embattled actor’s FX comedy series ANGER MANAGEMENT will air it’s final episodes tonight.

ANGER MANAGEMENT made headlines in 2012 when the network ordered an unprecedented 90 extra episodes after a strong debut.

Ratings, however, did not hold up and the show — about a former baseball star who becomes a work-at-home therapist — pretty much fell off the radar.

ANGER MANAGEMENT also stars Shawnee Smith and Noureen DeWulf.

The two-part finale begins at 10:00 PM.

In an interview with Radio Times magazine, the British comic James Corden says he was offered a few words of wisdom from the former AMERICA’S GOT TALENT judge.

“He just said, ‘Go for it and give it your best shot, but know that this is a piece of television real estate that Americans feel a sense of ownership over and they will come for you. There will be criticism, either way, whatever you do.'”

The former NBC NIGHTLY NEWS anchor broke the good news to friends and colleagues yesterday in an email obtained by The Hollywood Reporter.

“A year ago my future was more uncertain than I cared to acknowledge but now I face the New Year with very encouraging news… The cancer is in remission and I will shortly go on a drug maintenance regimen to keep it there.”

The 74 year-old newsman was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in early 2014.
