Howard Stern returns to 'AGT'

He’s coming back!

After “a lot of soul searching” Howard Stern confirmed today that he will return as a judge for the upcoming tenth season of AMERICA’S GOT TALENT.

“I have to admit, I was a little unsure of whether to go back or not,” he told listeners on his SiriusXM radio program this morning,

“But I thought about it and they told me about their plans for the ten year anniversary.  They changed things up.  They came up with some interesting ideas.  It sounded pretty good to me.  So I signed up for another year.”

The former shock jock and self-proclaimed “King of All Media” confessed he felt “a little jealous” trying to imagine the show going on without him.

This will be Stern’s fourth season on the program which is open to all talents and all ages.

He joined in 2012 as a replacement for original judge Piers Morgan.

“Howard’s wit and character bring an incomparable humor and insight to ‘America’s Got Talent,’” NBC‘s Alternative and Late Night Programming president, Paul Telegdy, said in a press statement Monday.

“We are thrilled to have him return.”

Auditions for season 10 are currently underway.
