E! News broke the story Monday that Griffin, 54, would take over the seat Rivers left vacant when she passed away in September.
Celebrity stylist and TV personality Brad Goreski will also join Kelly Osbourne and Giuliana Rancic on the panel.
The truth is no one will ever replace the sharp-tongued comedy legend, but if there is anyone working today who embodies the “have no fear” attitude Rivers exuded, it is Griffin.

Oddly, the carrot-topped comic said just last month that she was unsure if the show was a good fit for her.
“Kathy just feels right,” said Joan’s daughter and FASHION POLICE executive producer Melissa Rivers. “I’m excited to see where this panel takes this series my mother so adored in this next incarnation.”
FASHION POLICE returns January 12 on E!
