’19 Kids and Counting’: Will Controversy Lead To Cancellation?

An online petition is calling for the popular show to be removed from the air

Duggars - 19 Kids and Counting

The Duggars are on the ropes!

An online petition to cancel the popular reality series 19 KIDS AND COUNTING continues to gain momentum.

As of Thursday morning, the virtual document started by Jim Wissick of San Jose had obtained more than 95,800 signatures!

That’s roughly 5082 signatures per Duggar kid!

The poop first hit the fan several months ago when mama Michelle Duggar began publicly campaigning to overturn a local law in Fayetteville, Arkansas which forbid landlords and business owners from firing or evicting people because of their gender identity.

“The Fayetteville City Council is voting on an ordinance this Tuesday night that would allow men – yes I said men – to use women’s and girls’ restrooms, locker rooms, showers, sleeping areas, and other areas that are designated for females only,” Duggar says in a recorded phone message to her neighbors.

“I don’t believe the citizens of Fayetteville would want males with past child predator convictions that claim they are female to have a legal right to enter private areas that are reserved for women and girls.”

Wissick’s petition claims Duggar’s statements “reek of ignorance and fear mongering.”

So far TLC has made no indication it intends to axe the show.
