Sharon Osbourne is battling depression.

The outspoken talk show host shocked her fans today, revealing she has be coping with the mental disorder for the past 16 years.

“I’m on medication,” she shared on THE TALK during a roundtable discussion with co-hosts Julie Chen, Aisha Tyler, Sheryl Underood and Sara Gilbert.

“Some days are better than others and some days you just want to pull the sheets over your head and stay in that bed and not do a damn thing except rot.”

Sharon, 62, is the latest celebrity to open up about the subject.

In an interview scheduled to air Monday on ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT, comic Wayne Brady admits that he, too, has been battling the demon that famously led Robin Williams to end his life in August.

“Having a bad day is one thing,” he says.   “Having a bad week is another, having a bad life… You don’t want to move, you can’t move in the darkness.”

Kudos to both Sharon and Wayne for being brave enough to share their struggles.

If you or someone you know is dealing with depression, please ask for help.

THE TALK airs weekdays on CBS.
