Eccentric actor finishes first on UK's 'Celebrity Big Brother'

This time he didn’t get fired!

Gary Busey — who twice was sent packing by Donald Trump on THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE — has finally taken top prize on a reality TV show.

The actor, 70, was crowned champion this weekend of the UK’s CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER.

Boxer Audley Harrison and dancer James Jordan placed second and third, according to published reports.

“It’s a surprise and an honor and a tribute to my love for this country and what I learnt about Britain,” the actor said. “I know why the word Great is in front of Britain…I can’t wait to take Stephanie and Luke to Stratford Upon Avon…and Liverpool.”

“The respect in this country I’ve received in my heart and my spirit is undeniable.”

Gary is the first American to win CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER.

CELEBRITY APPRENTICE returns January 5 on NBC.
