‘AGT’: Show Returns To Radio City Music Hall, Adds ‘Bootcamp’ Round

NBC talent search kicks off ninth season on May 27

Radio City Music Hall

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT is returning to Radio City Music Hall — and adding a new twist — for its ninth season.

The summer’s top-rated program since 2006 will now include a special “Bootcamp” round, according to The New York Post.

Though no sources are cited and NBC has not yet issued an official press release, the paper says the new round will be filmed in front of a live audience May 14 – 17 at a still to be determined venue in New York City.

A network spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for confirmation.

AGT relocated its live shows to the Big Apple last year after a brief stop in Newark, NJ in 2012.  The first six seasons originated from Los Angeles.

This year’s judging panel again features Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Howard Stern and Mel B.

AMERICA’S GOT TALENT returns May 27 at 9:00 ET/PT on NBC.
