We will soon be getting to see a bit more of the Bravermans.

PARENTHOOD producer Jason Katims revealed today that he expects at least one popular character from the critically-acclaimed drama to pop up on his new NBC comedy ABOUT A BOY.

“Both shows are set in this San Francisco and the Bay Area, it sort of made sense that there would be [crossover opportunities],” he told TV critics in Pasadena, Calif. today.

“And because Will [AAB’s David Walton] is in the world of music and Crosby’s [PARENTHOOD’s Dax Shepard] in the world of music, it made sense to me.”

Walton made a guest appearance on the most recent episode of PARENTHOOD as a guest at Crosby’s poker game.

“So it turns out in ABOUT A BOY, Will also has his own poker game. And so Dax Shepard will be making an appearance as Crosby Braverman as well.”

Further character crossovers are also possible, he indicated.

ABOUT A BOY premieres Tuesday February 25 at 9:00 PM.
