The DUCK DYNASTY drama continues!

In the wake of A&E’s outrageous decision to suspend Phil Robertson from its most profitable show, the Sheriff of Douglas County, Louisiana has told the network it will no longer cooperate with filming in his jurisdiction.

“A&E has suspended Phil Robertson for talking about his conservative Christian beliefs,” Sheriff Phil Miller wrote on his personal Facebook page.” None of us are without sin and I am not judging anyone. I am sure A&E made what they believe is a good business decision. Many people who disagree with A&E might choose to remain silent and there was a time when I might have done the same, but no longer. In my mind the punishment is unreasonable.

They will not do any more with my assistance while I am sheriff. It is time for someone other than Hollywood and the news media to stand up for what is right!”

Brian Stelter’s bestseller TOP OF THE MORNING met with mixed reviews — but the folks at Lifetime think it will make for riveting television.  The cable network announced today that it will adapt the bestseller into a TV movie to air in 2014.  Liz Gateley and Tony DiSanto (LAGUNA BEACH, TEEN MOM) will produce.  No cast or writers have been announced.
