There will be “a lot of sexuality this season” on THE CARRIE DIARIES

That’s the promise from new cast member Lindsey Gort, who joins the show as a young Samantha Jones.

“There are certain things you just can’t show [on The CW], but they’re implied,” she tells the New York Post. “I feel nude when I’m shooting, not wearing much more than underwear and pasties, but there’s definitely a lot of sexuality this season. I’m teaching everybody the ropes.”

Carrie Bradshaw (AnnaSophia Robb) will meet her future best friend for the first time in tonight’s season premiere episode.  Young Samantha turns out to be the cousin of Carrie’s high school nemesis Donna LaDonna (Chloe Bridges).

“She’s from Florida,” Gort tells TVGuide.com. “When you first meet her, she’s pretty much how you would expect being that type of woman. She’s already sexually free and liberated. I think that she was probably born that way. She’s very confident and secure with who she is to a certain extent, as much as anyone in her early 20s can be. The biggest difference is that she doesn’t have the Birkin or the Manolos yet. She’s not a career woman. She’s still figuring her footing out and what she wants to do with her life and trying to open up her heart a little more. She’s a go-getter and not afraid to speak her mind and tell you what’s going on.”
