There’s more legal drama for one of the REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS.
Lisa Vanderpump and her husband Ken Todd are being dragged into court over a dispute involving plans to open a gay sports bar in Los Angeles.
Lulu Restaurant Group and Varsity Restaurant Group filed suit this week against The Professional Restaurant Group and five other defendants — including movie producer Elie Samaha and the Bravo reality stars.
They claim that Samaha backed out of his plan to fund the venture, allowing Vanderpump to swoop in and snatch the spot at 8948 Santa Monica Blvd. for herself.
According to the complaint, Samaha agreed to put down a $500,000 investment but never followed through, causing other investors to back out.
The plaintiffs are looking for damages of more than $4 million and are asking the court to block the development and planned opening of P.U.M.P. Lounge.
In a statement to The Daily Mail, Vanderpump and her husband said: “We took the lease in good faith seven months ago and all of our applications and notices have been posted publicly. Any issue will be between them and the property owner.”
