Will Heidi Klum Ditch ‘Project Runway’ For ‘AGT’?

America's Got Talent - Season 8As Heidi Klum heads to her first day at work on AMERICA’S GOT TALENT, many fans are wondering what impact the new gig will have on her duties as host and executive producer of PROJECT RUNWAY.

Turns out, the answer is ‘None.’

Sources close to the newly-single supermodel tell me Heidi, 39, is already in production on season 12 of the fashion design series. (Season 11 is currently airing on Lifetime.)   Taping is expected to be complete before the start of AGT’s live episodes in June.

“We are going full steam ahead on PROJECT RUNWAY,” the insider says.

The future of the show beyond that is less clear.

“We kind of go on a season to season basis,” the source said.

A Klum spokesperson could not be reached for comment.

This is the first time AGT will experiment with four judges.  Heidi joins shock jock Howard Stern, comic Howie Mandel and former Spice Girl Mel B.

“As we look to develop an act that will get the world’s attention, we and the contestants will benefit from Heidi’s international sensibility and understanding of what works in today’s global entertainment industry,” Paul Telegdy, NBC’s head of alternative programming said in a release Monday.
