Adam Levine took his shirt off last night on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE.
That act alone was probably enough to satisfy millions of adoring Maroon 5 fans. But for everyone else, there was the added bonus of some comedy — specifically a fun spoof of “The Voice” featuring Andy Samberg, Cameron Diaz and Jerry Seinfeld.
It was Diaz who convinced the heavily tattooed singer to eventually go shirtless, saying sometimes you have to do just about anything for a laugh.
“You have to be able to take a handful of Ben Stiller’s spooge and stick it right in your hair,” she joked in homage to an iconic scene from “There’s Something About Mary.”
Seinfeld, meanwhile, pleaded for Levine to remain fully clothed.
